The Sustainability Institute is committed to transformative learning for a just and generative future. Founded in 1999, the institute is an international living and learning center that teaches, researches and applies methods for a strengthened life (“restorative being”). The focus is on children from kindergarten to after they have finished school.
The staff at the Sustainability Institute are experts in learning experience design for transformative education in sustainability in the African context. They offer knowledge, skills and a real space for the design of transformative education. Expertise includes consulting, offering and implementing learning programs in partnership with other organisations.
There are also courses and workshops led by the Sustainability Institute. The institute is recognized as a leading expert institution in the transition to social justice and in the governance of complex future developments in Africa.
